Customer Challenges

ICS wanted to scale its audio streaming services to its customers and provide a higher quality experience. As its operation grew, it also needed to provide a simpler onboarding process for new customers, as well as identify and deliver new revenue-generating services.

The traditional telecoms network ICS had in place was not adequate to achieve scale, nor would it be cost-effective to upgrade with their incumbent provider. ICS needed to consider and embrace new IP-based telecommunications networks.

How Did iNet Help?

In summary, iNet proposed a 3-step plan to meet their target objectives.

  • Migrating to iNet’s carrier-grade telecoms platform, combined with our expertise, allowed ICS to move away from legacy ISDN lines to an IP-based network. This enabled massive scalability, more reliability, capacity, and ensured a much better customer experience and service.
  • iNet internally developed the technical capabilities to assist and support ICS in deploying new, high-capacity, revenue-generating services.
  • By providing marketing numbers on-demand, a revenue-sharing model was agreed that would incentivise both parties, and improve the onboarding process for new ICS customers.

The Result

The migration to iNet’s intelligent IP network has enabled massive scale, increased capacity to serve new and many more customers. This has meant a significant increase in users and enabled ICS content availability on-demand.  The move to iNet has also increased service reliability and resilience. the iNet solution has meant that ICS clients can also now deliver content to their own customer base as a white-labeled service, building their own respective brands and revenue streams.
